PayXpert, winner of the 21st century national technology award, and a pioneer in the payments sector since 2009 gathered, for the first time, at its Barcelona headquarter, more than 70 employees from the Spain, UK, and France offices.
On 27, 28, and 29 June, all the company’s employees were able to enjoy three days full of fun, a multicultural atmosphere, teamwork, and communication exercises.
Day 1 – Team presentation and getting to know each other
This first day of activities was the first opportunity to welcome all our international colleagues and, as an introduction, we held the first round of conferences and presentations of the teams to learn more about the culture, and the processes developed by each department. This way, we got to know more in-depth about the work and the role of each person in PayXpert.
Once the presentations came to an end, we could enjoy a wonderful dinner with typical Spanish dishes and food in the company of all our colleagues. A dinner of union, of team spirit, and a symbol of the great family that is PayXpert.
Day 2 – Team Building activities at the Clos la Plana, Sant Pere de Ribes
The big day finally arrived! Early in the morning, we gathered at the hotel where our colleagues were staying, ready to enjoy the celebration of our great Team Building event. We headed to San Pere de Ribes, the place chosen as the site for fun, games, and reflection. This is a small and idyllic coastal village part of the Garraf region, about 45 minutes from Barcelona. There we stayed at a wonderful masía (country house) with all the comforts and facilities necessary to spend the day with our entire team, perfectly dressed in the colours of PayXpert, a great white and green tide!
From the very beginning, you could appreciate the willingness and desire of everyone to participate in a day that was characterised by games, laughter, fun, and, again and above all, the collaborative spirit and teamwork that PayXpert always has as a hallmark.
To round off this fun-filled day, we were able to enjoy a tasty barbecue and take advantage of the afternoon to enjoy the pool party, the paddle tennis courts, and many other activities and initiatives that arose spontaneously by a team with a clear ambition to have fun and strengthen ties with all colleagues. Teamwork to the fullest!
Day 3 – Product & corporate identity presentations
On the last day of our Team Building, our CEO, Nicolas Riegert, elaborated more in detail on what our product strategy is, our mission and vision, our footprint as a company, and the importance of the work of every one of us who make up the engine of PayXpert.

The final conference was the perfect way to round off three days of team building and “pay expertise” development. These are appetite-provoking activities, so another barbecue accompanied by canapés on the terrace of our office marked the end of the adventure. Here we enjoyed the stunning city views and shared a festive atmosphere with great colleagues.
